With all of the discussion in the world this week about Jesus' last week before His crucifixion, I thought that it was a good time to repost an article that I wrote last November.
During this week, Jesus' typical pattern was to travel into Jerusalem and spend the day there, but in the evening He would retreat back to the little town of Bethany. Why would He do this? Why not just stay in Jerusalem?
Well, I can think of a couple of reasons. One is obvious, but you'll need a map for the second one.
