Hotel Information

Netanya

David’s Harp - Netanya

Description: I have stayed at this hotel several times, and I always enjoy my stay. This hotel faces the Mediterranean Sea, with most rooms having a stunning view of the water. As the sun sets, you will be able to cross the road to a small park to catch the sun disappearing over the horizon. The rooms are large and offer a great place to relax after our flights from the United States. The food is also wonderful, with a variety of things to eat.

Tiberias

Ron Beach Hotel

Description: This is one of my favorite hotels in Israel. It is a family-run hotel, so it is more intimate than larger, corporate hotels. The staff is wonderful. The food is wonderful. And every room has a balcony facing the Sea of Galilee. You can enjoy the sun rising over this beautiful body of water from your hotel room.

Amman

Regency Palace

Description: I have stayed at this hotel on two different tours. It is a wonderful hotel with excellent views of the city of Amman. (Make sure that you go to the rooftop bar/restaurant for a beautiful view. The breakfasts at this hotel are truly some of the best that I have had in all of my travels.

PETRA

Petra Marriott

Description: This five-star hotel is located a short distance from the entrance of the UNESCO site of Petra. This will allow us to get there quickly before the heat of the day settles in. The hotel offers incredible vistas of the entire valley.

DEAD SEA

Dead Sea Marriott

Description: This five-star hotel is located on the shore of the Dead Sea. From our rooms, we should be able to look across the waters of the Dead Sea and see the Wilderness of Judea, En Gedi, and the Qumran areas in Israel. This hotel will also allow all of us the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea!

JERUSALEM

Grand Court Hotel

Description: To be honest, I have lost count of how many evenings in my life at this hotel. It is a wonderful hotel, just a 15-minute walk from the Damascus Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem. The large lobby will welcome you as we arrive. The food and (especially) the desserts will be something that you will remember. Its close proximity to the Old City will allow us to quickly get to the places we want to visit.

Interesting Links

Western Wall Live Webcam - During the first century BC, King Herod greatly enlarged the Temple Mount and rebuilt the temple. The Western Wall is the holiest site in Judaism as it is the closest that the Jewish people can get to the original site of the temple. This camera will be pointed at the Western Wall 24 hours a day, except on the Shabbat.

Zefat Live Webcam - The city of Zefat (Sefad) is about 5 miles north of the Sea of Galilee. Most of the modern population of Zefat is Jewish. This camera is pointed southwest toward the hills of Lower Galilee. When it is clear, you can see the northwestern corner of the Sea of Galilee on the left hand side of the screen. The lights going up the hill from the sea is the modern city of Tiberias.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I send in the remaining portion of my payment for the tour? All of the final payments are due to me by 100 days prior to departure. For this tour, that date is Saturday, January 3, 2026.

I have a lot of questions about the tour, like “What type of clothes do I pack?” and “Do I need to exchange currency before traveling?” How can I get those questions answered? Well, you are welcome to email me at any time, and I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. However, after we pass the final deadline of January 3, I will be sending everyone a lot of information about the tour. This includes a special booklet that I have written that answers many of these logistical questions.

What if I need to cancel my reservation for the tour? Well, I would be sad to hear that, but sometimes circumstances change, and that becomes a necessity. For everyone who had sent in a $500 deposit to Nawas International Travel, $300 of that deposit is non-refundable. The rest of the funds, as well as other funds that you may pay, are subject to the cancellation policy on the Terms and Conditions page on the Nawas website.
